Calibrating Icom IC-705

Recently I had a deeper look into the settings of my IC-705. I found one called [MENU]→FUNCTION→REF ADJUST and was curious what I can do with that. After a quick internet search I was’t really enlightened about what I should do with it. So, I started to find it out myself.

I connected the radio to my spectrum analyzer just to have a look where it exactly sends, on which frequency. I saw that it was a bit besideds the frequency it should be on. So I tried to adjust it with this setting and it worked like I guessed.

If you change the percent value to be higher the output frequency is a bit higher and the other way around, if you change to a lower percent value the RF is lower.
